Fulham had lesser possession than the Reds and despite this, they were able to go into the halftime interval with a one-goal lead thanks to the header from Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic. MILNER NAMED LIVERPOOL TRAINING EXPERT

Veteran Liverpool midfielder James Milner is always at his full capacity in training according to young teammate Rhys Williams. Welsh international centre back Rhys Williams has been promoted to the first team at Liverpool this season due to the injuries to three key centre backs. Reds central defenders Joe Gomez, Joel Matip and Virgil Van Dijk have all missed the majority of this season as a result of injury. Rhys Williams has had to fill in for the injured trio in some games, while midfielders like Jordan Henderson and Fabinho have had to cover for the injuries by playing at the heart of the defence.

In his recent interview as monitored by The Boot Room (TBR), Rhys Williams said that James Milner and Andy Robertson are the two players that are always at full capacity in training and that they are difficult opponents during training. James Milner is a veteran player at the age of 35 and it is uncertain whether the ex-England international will play for Liverpool next season. From his regular role of midfield, James Milner now moved to the full-back. The experience and attitude of this veteran player are significant in attack as well as in defense.

These players have been made for game and nights like this one, and now Jürgen Klopp also realizes the same. James Milner is now 33, but the enthusiasm and desire of this midfield typify what Klopp wants to see in his players.
